This sets out the basis of our agreement when working 1 to 1 with a Healthpath practitioner. It lets you know what you can expect from us, and what is expected of you.

About our consultations

Your consultation will be with one of our qualified and registered Nutrition or Functional Medicine practitioners. They will provide food, supplement and lifestyle advice according to your needs.

This service is not in place of mental health or emotional wellbeing support. If your practitioner feels you would benefit from support in this area, they will let you know.

Appointments

Our sessions will be via Zoom or phone. Please be in a confidential space where you are comfortable.

Consultations will last either 30, 60 or 90 minutes as booked through the Healthpath website.

If you’re late or delayed, it will not be possible to extend the session. You will be charged if a consultation is scheduled, but you are unable to connect online.

If your practitioner is unable to attend, you will not be charged and we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible. We will rearrange the session for another time as soon as possible.

Cancellations

You can cancel consultations up to 24 hours before the start of the appointment and receive a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will not receive a refund. Email hello@healthpath.com to cancel.

Contact with practitioners

Practitioners are not able to answer queries by email, so please use your consultation to ask any questions.

If you have any immediate concerns or queries after receiving your plan, the Healthpath team is here for you:

If you have detailed or ongoing questions, we will ask you to book a follow-up consultation with your practitioner for either 30 mins or 1 hour. This is the best way to ensure safe, effective advice from your practitioner.

Your role as a client

You are responsible for contacting your GP about any health concerns.

You will tell your GP, or any other medical provider, about the advice provided by your practitioner. This is necessary because of any possible reaction between medications and your nutrition plan.

You will tell your practitioner about any medical diagnosis, medication, herbal or other medicine, or supplements that you are taking.

If you are unclear or concerned about any recommendations immediately following the consultation, you will contact us for clarification.

If you have ongoing queries, you will book an additional appointment.

You understand it may take 1 to 3 months before seeing improvements to your health, and for more complex health histories, it can take longer.

If you wish to continue any supplements for longer than the agreed period, you will contact us to confirm. This is to avoid any potential adverse reactions.

You will need a working internet connection and/or phone network for all sessions.

Confidentiality

The information shared in consultations is confidential. Our practitioners will not disclose any information to a third party other than in the event that there is a threat to your safety or to the safety of others.

Information about your symptoms and/or conditions may be discussed internally with Healthpath’s Functional Medicine Director, Alex Manos, in a secure setting to discuss the best next steps for certain health situations.

Healthpath practitioners may refer you to other members of the Healthpath team to support you, for example, our customer services team or our emotional wellbeing coaches.
