This may be a contributing factor and may connect some of the dots between your symptoms.

High levels of cortisol may be caused by a variety of factors, for example, chronic stress, low thyroid function or side effects from medication. This may be a contributing factor and may connect some of the dots between your symptoms.

High DHEA levels have been associated with chronic daily stress, depressive symptoms, high prolactin hormone, and PCOS among others. Increased concentrations of DHEA are not diagnostic of a specific condition; they usually indicate the need for further testing to pinpoint the cause of the hormone imbalance.
