Frequently asked questions

I eat well. Do I need to take supplements?

Unfortunately, we can’t answer this question definitively because we don’t know what you eat. However, what we can say is that it’s very hard to reach a therapeutic dose of nutrients from food alone. Supplements make this a lot easier. We know from clinical experience that using the right supplements for the right period of time can help to restore the body’s natural balance.

Do I really need to take this many supplements?

We consider supplements to be therapeutic tools. We don’t endorse taking them forever, but rather see them as a short-term intervention to achieve a specific goal. We’ve created SIBO Stop: Diarrhoea based on what we know to be effective. While we understand that supplements can be a pain, we know that it’s worth taking these for a set period of time.

Will these supplements interact with my medications?

People who are allergic to the Lamiaceae (mint) family should not take Oil of Oregano. Pregnant or lactating women should not take Melia Supreme.

I can buy much cheaper supplements elsewhere. Why should I buy these?

There’s huge disparity between supplement brands. Some may be cheaper, but they’re often made with fillers, binders and less bioavailable versions of nutrients. We see supplements as an extension of food — it’s worth paying for quality. We work hard to offer supplements that are both effective and an as affordable as possible.

Should I take these with or without food?

It is recommended that you take 1 softgel per day with food, unless otherwise specified by your health professional.

 

Can I take these supplements if I’m pregnant?
